Elephant Seals!!
These animals were really big and scary. They were protected. We got lucky and it was breeding season so the animals are grouped together on the beach. Usually they don't do this.
We found a campsite on our atlas and decided to go to it without really knowing anything about it.
The road quickly turned to gravel. We were in the low ground clearance Scion so we started to get nervous. The road got pretty crazy, but the scion trucked through it. We ultimately felt uncomfortable with the site so we went else where.

We found a new campsite by back tracking. We stayed there and woke up and finished our drive to LA.
